For Pat's Birthday in 2023 we stayed at the Ripon Inn, Ripon which had re-opened in October 2023 following a major refurbishment. On the day of our arrival, we visited Fountains Abbey as it was a few years since we'd last been and we particularly wanted to walk through the Abbey grounds and Studley Gardens to the Deer Park in the hope that we would have the chance of seeing some deer. We were not disppointed!
