Ponte Vecchia This photograph shows the Ponte Vecchia. It is the oldest bridge in Florence. Indeed its name means Old Bridge.

Florence has much to offer in terms of culture. It played a major role in the Rennaissance and is now the resting place of Michaelangelo and Galileo as well as many other luminaries from that era. It is also the place to go shopping for leather goods. Almost every shop is devoted to leatherware and much of it is very reasonably priced.
