This is a view of the harbour in Valetta. Malta seems to be a very busy little island. The centre of Valetta is on the top of a hill. We could have walked but were lazy and opted for a taxi on the way up and a horse-drawn carriage on the way down. Some people seem to love Valetta and some people seem to hate it. As for me, I certainly didn't love it but also did not think it as dull as some would make out. The best thing about Malta in my view though is the virtually guaranteed warm sunny weather during the summer.
