In June 2023 we stayed at Valdoon, Hickling which is in the Norfolk Broads (the nearest Broad being Hickling Broad). Here are some photos:
This is Norwich Cathedral. Work started on building it in 1086. It has the second highest spire in Britain.

We hired a day boat which was the same as the one in the photo. We sailed from Wroxham to Horning and back in three hours.

This is Thurne Mill. It may look like a windmill, but it's actually a water pump which was used to pump water out of the marshland.
This is the pier at Cromer on the North Norfolk Coast. We walked to Cromer and back along the beach from Overstrand. It's just over five miles in total.
