Disneyland - The Magic Kingdom

In October 2006 we decided to visit Disneyland in Florida. The weather was extremely warm despite it being the middle of October. We were also surprised at how large the crowds were. It must be unimaginably busy during the peak season. The first place we visited was "The Magic Kingdom". It was the logical place to start our exploration as this was where Disneyworld began. When Walt Disney's brother Roy O. Disney dedicated Walt Disney World on 25th October 1971, there was just one theme park with 26 attractions and three resort hotels.

The Magic Kingdom is "a place of timeless enchantment where the dreams of Walt Disney live on. The Magic Kingdom experience begins with a nostalgic trip down Main Street, USA, a fantasy version of small towns in America nearly a hundred years ago during the optimistic era of Walt Disney's boyhood.
