London - September 2018

In September 2018 we spent a few days in London.

We mainly went with the intention of visiting Wimbledon, Greenwich and Windsor as neither of us had visited any of these places before. However, we found that there was so much to see at Greenwich that we went back there for a second day. We will have to leave Windsor until another time.

Whilst we were in London we went to see Agatha Christie's "Witness for the Prosecution" which was staged at London County Hall. It was a fabulous play in an absolutely perfect setting:

This is Lord Nelson's uniform from the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. On the top left-hand shoulder, the uniform has been damaged by the bullet that killed him.
